I bet even the most hard core of you muay thai fans did not realize that Dieselnoi, ” one of the great Muay Thai fighters of all time” – aided by being uniquely tall for a Thai (6’3″), and a devastating knee attack to go with it – fought in the United States once, against a Karate Champion.
Important to note a few things:
- it looks like elbows werent allowed or this would have been done much earlier
- This highlights the need to a solid understanding of clinch work even if you just plan to counter the tactic
